The Texas Southern Flames Girls Basketball Organization was established in 2020 during the Covid-19 Pandemic. We started this program to give the girls in the Houston area, specifically the south side of Houston and the Pearland/Missouri City area, an opportunity to be able to develop the skill set to play on a national level in front of college coaches.

We teach our players and trainees to strive in the classroom and teach them how to be great examples of a student-athlete. Based out of the south side of Houston, the program has teams and trainees ranging from 3rd grade to 11th grade. Every spring and summer hundreds of girls have an opportunity to compete in basketball in front of college coaches.
